What we collect

When you book, we ask for your name, mobile number, optional email and optional notes (for example nail shape or allergies). We use them only to hold your appointment, send confirmations and reminders, and keep a simple visit history (services and technician) so we can serve you better next time.

We never sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that run our booking and text messages, and only so they can do that job.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and loads no third-party trackers. The demo booking feature stores your booking in your own browser (localStorage) so you can see it and rebook in one tap; you can clear it any time by clearing site data. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first.

SMS / text message terms

• If you tick "Text me a reminder" or text us first, we send appointment confirmations and reminders — typically 1–3 messages per booking.
• Marketing texts (offers, birthday perk) are sent only if you separately opt in at the front desk or in Mai Rewards.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with third parties for their marketing.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for up to 3 years for your visit history and tax records, then deleted. Ask us any time to see, correct or delete your information: (713) 555-0148 or hello@mai-lacquer.example.

Booking terms

• Online bookings are confirmed by text. Free to cancel or change up to 12 hours before; groups of 4+ pay a $10 per person deposit, applied to the bill, kept on a no-show.
• We hold your time for 10 minutes. After that we may shorten the service or move you to the next opening.
• "From" prices depend on length, shape and design; your technician confirms the final price before starting. Quiet-hour and birthday discounts don't combine.
• Fix guarantee: polish chips within 3 days, gel or extension lifting within 7 days, fixed free. Not covered: breaks from impact or DIY removal.

Gift card terms

• Gift cards never expire and carry no fees (consistent with the federal CARD Act and Texas law). Use them for any service, add-on or tip.
• Not redeemable for cash unless required by law. Lost cards bought online can be re-sent to the original phone or email.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to book and visit. This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA: it works with screen readers, keyboard only and 200% zoom. If anything is hard to use, call or text (713) 555-0148 and we'll book for you.

• A pedicure station where you can stay in your own wheelchair.
• Service animals are welcome.
• Large-print price menu at the front desk.
